COMMUNITY-INVOLVED ARTS

Community-involved Works

They say it takes a village to raise a child. The truth is, it takes a community to create an installation art work. The collaborative sense of having a vision and carrying it through to realization brings people together. Children, seniors, art students - any group can take part in bringing art to your community.

What is installation art?

Installation art is site-specific art designed to change your perspective about that space. It can be in museums and galleries, public or private spaces. It may incorporate multi-media or a single, traditional medium. I offer to guidance to any community wanting to create their own installation art.

Sculpture

As an artist for 35 years, I enjoy seeing non-artists become part of the creative process. This is a way for anyone to become invested in their community's public art.
